The 2000s brought a bigger home studio, more responsibilities, Ava, Shelter 18, Sea Vista, family illness, financial pressure and fire scares. I built a dream studio, and wrote songs about the trials and tribulations of life.

I built a dream studio. My house had 28 stairs. Shelter 18 takes its name from chai, the Hebrew word for life, and the number 18. A daughter with a pink guitar, and songs about the trials and tribulations of life.
